Graudina/Kravcenkova win gold at U-22 Beach Volleyball European Championship

Print versionLatvia's Tina Laura Graudina and Anastasija Kravcenoka won the women's division at the U-22 Beach Volleyball European Championship on Sunday.
In the semifinals, the ninth-seeded Graudina/Kravcenoka beat the fourth-seeded Lisa Arnholdt/Nadja Glenzke, of Germany, 2-1 (19:21, 26:24, 15:12), and in the final match a few hours later - the third-seeded Katarzyna Kociolek/Jagoda Gruszczynska, of Poland, 2-1 (16:21, 21:15, 15:9).
Graudina/Kravcenoka did not lose a single match at the championship.
Kristaps Smits and Mihails Samoilovs finished in 17th place at the men's division of the U-22 European Championship.
