Ene-Liis Semper will continue as creative director of the Estonian NO99 theater and director Tiit Ojasoo will stay with the theater as stage director, informs LETA/BNS.

The supervisory board of NO99 on Monday accepted Ojasoo's resignation and appointed pro tem director Eero Epner member of the board, chairman of the supervisory body Tonis Arro told BNS. Semper will carry on as creative head of the theater and Ojasoo will continue working for the company as stage director, Arro said.

"The decisions of the supervisory board stem from the need to ensure artistic continuity of Theater NO99 and survival of one of Estonian culture's internationally most important theaters. For the supervisory board, the troupe's public and firm wish to continue in the previous artistic directions was of importance," Arro said.

Semper and Epner are co-founders of the theater. Semper has since then worked as its scenic designer, creative director and stage director, and Epner has served as its literary director.

Ojasoo resigned amid a scandal over his physically attacking an actor.
