Alona Ostapenko lost a close match to Serbia's Bojana Jovanovski in the first round of the Tashkent Open yesterday, the final score was 6-4, 2-6, 5-7, informs LETA.
Therefore Ostapenko has earned one WTA ranking point in Tashkent.
At the moment, Ostapenko is ranked 79th in the WTA rankings, whereas Jovanovski, the winner of the Tashkent Open in 2013, is in 106th place.
