Arturs Kurucs signs 7-year contract with ACB club "Laboral Kutxa"

The young and talented Latvian basketball player Arturs Kurucs has signed a seven-year contract with the Spanish ACB league club "Laboral Kutxa", reports LETA, according to the kiaenzona.com portal.
The Latvian, who is currently just fifteen years old, will probably play in the "Laboral Kutxa" junior team next year.
Two other Latvians, Davis Bertans and Rinalds Malmanis, are also part of the "Laboral Kutxa" system at the moment.
Last season, Arturs Kurucs, the younger brother of another major Latvian talent Rodions Kurucs, averaged 14.9 points and 8 rebounds playing for the "Riga"/DSN team in the VEF Youth Basketball League.
As reported, Rodions Kurucs this past July has signed a four-year contract with the Spanish basketball club "Barcelona".
