Abols confirmed as assistant coach for Russian club Tolyatti ''Lada''

The now former head coach of Latvian ice hockey club Riga ''Dinamo'' Artis Abols has been confirmed the new assistant coach of Russian ice hockey club Tolyatti ''Lada'', the club has confirmed, cites LETA.
Abols has worked as a coach in the Riga ''Dinamo'' system since 2008, first as an assistant and from 2012 as the club's head coach.
The head coach of ''Lada'' is Sergei Svetlov.
''Lada'' will also be returning to play in the Kontinental Ice Hockey League next season.
