On Saturday night in Vienna, at the 60th annual "Eurovision" Song Contest's final, Latvia's entry – "Love Injected", sung by Aminata, finished in overall sixth place in the voting. Meanwhile, the Swedish entry ''Heroes'', sung by Mons Zelmerlow, triumphed in the voting, informs LETA.

Russia finished in second place in the voting, while Italy in third.

In the actual voting itself, Latvia gave the maximum number of points to Sweden.

Estonia's song "Goodbye to Yesterday", performed by Elina Born and Stig Rästa, achieved the 7th place at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna on Saturday, Public Broadcasting reports.

"It was a very strong competition. We are really very happy about this position," said Elina. "Among duets we were the first, which was reminded to us by others all the time – so many duets and things and many big countries we left behind," said Stig.

The head of the Estonian delegation at the Eurovision Mart Normet said that this year the competition was very strong and 7th position there is a very good result. He also said that the Estonian song sparked more media interest at Eurovision than any other Estonian song ever before.
