Steinberga and Zvirgzdins' basketball club "Royal Castors Braine" finishes second in EuroCup

The Belgian women's basketball club "Royal Castors Braine", which is coached by Latvia's Ainars Zvirgzdins, lost the second EuroCup finals match to the French team "Villeneuve d'Ascq" 53:73 (11:21, 20:15, 5:20, 17:17) on Thursday, informs LETA.
"Royal Castors Braine" won the first game of the finals by just four points, therefore on aggregate the Belgian club was defeated 121:137.
Latvian national team player Anete Steinberga also plays for "Royal Castors Braine", and Zane Eglite also briefly played for the club earlier this season.
In the first game of the finals, Steinberga was the highest scorer with 23 points, but yesterday she only scored four points.
