Aleksejenko appointed Latvian Economy Ministry's Under Secretary of State

Raimonds Aleksejenko was appointed the Economy Ministry's Under Secretary of State on Wednesday, February 25, the ministry informed LETA.
Aleksejenko will be in charge of three departments – the EU Funds Implementation Department, the Entrepreneurship Competitiveness Department, and the Economic Policy Department.
At the same time, Aleksejenko will also be responsible for the organization of activities at the Latvian Tourism Development Agency, the Central Statistical Bureau, and the Investment and Development Agency.
For the past seven years, Aleksejenko was working at the Investment and Development Agency.
From 1999 to 2007, Aleksejenko held various positions at the Economy Ministry. His has also worked in the private sector.
