French Institute in Lithuania to host exhibition dedicated to Charlie Hebdo

From 21 January, through 13 February, the French Institute in Lithuania will host an exhibition of Charlie Hebdo magazine covers. The exhibition is dedicated to commemorate the victims of a terrorist attack in France against the satirical magazine, informs LETA/ELTA.
The official opening ceremony of the exhibition was scheduled for Wednesday evening. Several covers of this satirical magazine, whose humour is sometimes ferocious but it always follows the freedom of speech essential for every democracy, will be on display.
As reported, on 7 January armed Islamic extremists attacked the editorial office of Charlie Hebdo in Paris killing 12 people and injuring 11 more. It was the biggest act of terror in France in the last 50 years.
