Dukurs brothers place 1st and 2nd in season's opening Skeleton WC stage

Latvia's Martins and Tomass Dukurs took first and second place at the season's opening Skeleton World Cup stage at Lake Placid on Saturday, reports LETA.
M.Dukurs won the first stage, and finished 0.30 second ahead of his brother Tomass.
Matthew Antoine of the United States finished in overall third place, 0.44 seconds behind M.Dukurs.
M.Dukurs is currently the five-time defending Skeleton World Cup champ, while T.Dukurs has finished in overall second place the past two Skeleton World Cups.
Last season, M.Dukurs won seven out of eight Skeleton World Cup stages, while T.Dukurs finishes in the top three seven times. At the 2014 Sochi Olympic, M.Dukurs won the silver medal, while T.Dukurs finished in fourth place.
