Latvian men's curling team relegated to Division B

The Latvian men's curling team has been relegated to Division B while competing at t European Men's Curling Championships 2014, informs LETA.

Latvia lost a decisive match to hosts Switzerland 5-7 yesterday, and have lost its place in Division A. Latvia needed to beat Switzerland and then Russia to avoid relegation.

Latvia cannot finish any higher than 9th place in this year's tournament, and will be playing in the B Division tournament next year.

Latvia's only win came against Scotland.

Denmark has also been relegated to Division B.
