The very first set of triplets in Liepaja this year was born in Regional Hospital yesterday, furthermore, the trio are the first since the hospital's maternity ward was remodeled, the hospital's spokeswoman, Indra Grase, informed LETA.

All three – Silvestrs, Alens, and Matiss – are boys.

According to Grase, the mother and newborns are "feeling fine".

This is the fourth set of triplets in Latvia this year, according to LETAs archives.
