During the Latvian theater award ceremony "Night of the Players 2014" in Latvia, set designer Andris Freibergs and costume designer Vecella Varslavane will be honored for lifetime achievement, as well as newcomers to the "Latvian Theater Golden Fund".

The Latvian Theater Union informed LETA that the ceremony honoring "Latvian Theater Golden Fund" members, sponsored by Boriss and Inara Teterevs Foundation, will take place in the White Hall of the National Theater of Latvia. This year, two new members will join the fund – the New Riga Theater actress Velta Skurstene and the National Theater actor Janis Kubilis.

The "Latvian Theater Golden Fund" has 16 members at the moment, among them prominent actors and people associated with performing arts – Elvira Baldina, Gunars Zemgals, Helga Dancberga, Julija Vilgerte-Zveja, Karlis Zarins, Livija Akuratere, Levs Birmanis, Lubova Belikova, Nina Neznamova, Uldis Dumpis, Vera Valtere-Gribaca un Zermena Heine-Vagnere, Venta Vecumniece, Gunars Placens, Ruta Birgere, and Mara Zemdega.
