During a visit in the United States next week, Latvian President Andris Berzins bestow former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with the Commander Grand Cross of the Order of the Three Stars, informs LETA.

After his visit in the Vatican on September 21, President will go on a working visit to the United States to participate in the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly, and the UN Climate Summit 2014. During the General Assembly, he will meet with several world leaders for bilateral discussion.

President Berzins will award Clinton with the Commander Grand Cross of the Order of the Three Stars for her great contribution to the improvement of Latvia's strategic partnership with the United States.

President will return to Latvia on September 26.
