Latvian prominent theater and film critic Normunds Naumanis passes away

Theater and film critic Normunds Naumanis has passed away, Dita Rietuma, his long-term colleague, told LETA.
Naumanis worked at the newspaper Diena, he was one of the most prominent theater and film critics in Latvia.
Naumanis was a member of jury at various film competitions and festivals, including Berlin, Stockholm, and Venice film festivals.
The critic was born in 1962. In 1985 he graduated from the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts.
