Temperature in Latvia might reach 33 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday

After the hot weekend, weather will get even hotter in Latvia next Monday and Tuesday, reaching 33 degrees Celsius, the Latvian Environment,informs LETA reffering to Geology and Meteorology Center.
According to meteorologists, air temperature in Daugavpils (southeastern Latvia) and Dobele (southern Latvia) on Monday and Tuesday at around noon, will reach 33 degrees Celsius. The rest of Latvia's territory will also be affected by a heat wave, while air temperatures on the coasts of Kurzeme Region, will reach 24-26 degrees Celsius.
The hot weather will be supplemented by rain and thunderstorms as well.
It is expected that several temperature records in Latvia could be broken in the upcoming days.
