The popular Latvian pop/rock band "Brainstorm" are going on a tour around Latvia, in which they will use technical equipment weighing approximately 100 tons in all, LETA learned from the band's manager Dzina Karklina.

Karklina informed that the band will start the tour, promoting their latest album "Tur kaut kam ir jabut" ("There's Got To Be Something"), with a concert in Jelgava on Thursday, July 24. The volume and weight of the technical equipment that is going to be used in the tour's concerts is the biggest by far, compared with all the previous tours of the band.

The technical equipment will be transported in 15 trucks, and even more – 22 trucks will be used for carrying the equipment for the tour's finale concert at Mezaparks open-air stage on August 9.

Stage design elements are being manufactured in Latvia and Lithuania already since April. Special lighting equipment will be brought from the United States.

Construction of the stage for tour's opening concert in Jelgava this Thursday began already on Sunday morning last week.
