Exhibition of cactuses to open in Tallinn soon

Exhibition of cactuses titled "Cactuses, Our Prickly Friends" to take place on October 13 – 21, 2013, the Tallinn Botanical Garden said in a statement, cites LETA.
Cactuses originate in America. They grow from Canada to Patagonia in very different natural conditions: in savannahs, deserts, mountains and rainforests. At the cactus exhibition of Tallinn Botanical Gardens, visitors will find out what cactuses, belonging to different families look like and how it is possible to grow them in house conditions.
The exhibition is a result of cooperation with the Estonian Cactus Breeders Club.
Curators are Krista Kaur, Taimi Puusepp, Urmas Laansoo.
