Daugavins' ''Bruins'' take 2-1 lead in Stanley Cup finals

On Monday, Latvian forward Kaspars Daugavins and his Boston ''Bruins'' took a 2-1 lead in the NHL's Stanley Cup finals by defeating the Chicago ''Blackhawks'' 2:0 in the third game of their best-of-seven series, informs LETA.
Daniel Paille (23rd minute), and Patrice Bergeron (35th minute) scored the goals for the ''Bruins''.
Meanwhile, Daugavins was on the ice for six minutes and 30 seconds, during which he took one shot on goal and ended the game with a neutral efficiency rating.
The fourth game of the series will be played on Wednesday in Boston.
As reported, Daugavins has become the third Latvian to play in the NHL, or Stanley Cup finals.
The ''Bruins'' last played in the NHL finals in 2011, when they won the Stanley Cup.
