Latvian ice hockey club Riga ''Dinamo'' players Oskars Cibulskis and Roberts Bukarts have been named this past season's Kontinental Ice Hockey League's (KHL) Hope Cup ''Most Valuable Players'' (MVP), informs LETA.

Cibulskis was named the Hope Cup's most valuable defenseman, while Bukarts was named the tournament's most valuable forward.

Furthermore, former Latvian national team forward Olegs Znaroks was named the KHL's ''Coach of the Year'', after his team won the KHL finals for the second season in a row.

As reported, Riga ''Dinamo'' did not qualify for the KHL playoffs this past season, but won the league's post-season consolation tournament – the Hope Cup.
