At the second semi-final of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest in the Swedish city of Malmo last night, Latvia's "PeR" and their song "Here We Go" failed to reach Eurovision finals, informs LETA.

Hungary, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Romania, Norway, Iceland, Armenia, Finland, Malta and Greece qualified for the competition's finals.

"PeR", alongside musicians from Albania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Israel, San Marino and Switzerland, did not make it to the finals.

The Latvian band opened last night's semi-final.

As reported, the finals of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest will take place this Saturday, May 18. 26 countries will participate in Eurovision finals this year, including Eurovision host country Sweden and the "Big 5" – Great Britain, France, Italy, Spain and Germany.

The competition will be aired live on Latvian State Television's Channel 1 (LTV1).
