In September, the producer price index of industrial output in Estonia increased by 0.2%

According to Statistics Estonia, in September 2014, the producer price index of industrial output changed by 0.2% compared to August 2014 and by -2.0% compared to September 2013.

In September, compared to the previous month, the producer price index was more than average influenced by an increase in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, in mining and in the manufacture of metals, but also by a decrease in prices in the manufacture of wood products and chemicals.

 

Compared to September 2013, the producer price index was more than average influenced by a decrease in prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply and in the manufacture of fuel oils and electronic equipment, but also by an increase in prices in mining.

In September 2014, the export price index changed by 0.1% compared to August 2014 and by -2.5% compared to September 2013.

 

In September, compared to the previous month, the prices of electricity, wearing apparel and peat products increased more than average, while the prices of agricultural products, parts and accessories for motor vehicles, wood and metal products decreased more than average.

 

In September 2014, the import price index changed by 0.5% compared to August 2014 and by -1.5% compared to September 2013.

 

In September, compared to the previous month, the prices of agricultural products, electricity, footwear and leather products increased more than average, while the prices of food products, wood products and paper and paper products decreased more than average.
