Latvian residents require monthly salary of EUR 2,769 to fulfill their dreams

Print versionLatvian residents would want to earn EUR 2,769 a month on average in order to fulfill all of their dreams, according to a survey conducted by SKDS, cites LETA.

The survey indicates that currently, Latvian residents would want their salaries to be 26% larger than they wanted one year ago, according to what the head of SKDS Arnis Kaktins posted on his "Twitter" profile.
One year ago, respondents said that on average they required a monthly salary of EUR 2,194 on average in order to fulfill all their dreams, in 2012 – EUR 1,930, in 2011 – EUR 1,992, in 2010 – EUR 2,030, in 2009 – EUR 2,351, in 2008 – EUR 2,434.
In 2000, respondents said that in order to fulfill their dreams, they would require a monthly salary of EUR 1,164 on average.
Each survey featured about 750-850 respondents.
