Retail of motor vehicles enterprises in Lithuania grew in July, but decreased annually

Over a month in July 2014, the turnover of wholesale and retail trade of motor vehicles enterprises was on the increase, but smaller than in July 2013.

Statistics Lithuania informs that, based on provisional data, in July 2014, the turnover (VAT excluded) of enterprises engaged in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles amounted to LTL 680 million and, against June, increased by 5.1% at constant prices. The largest increase was observed in retail trade in motor vehicle parts and accessories (14.9%).

 

In July 2014, against July 2013, the turnover (VAT excluded) of enterprises engaged in wholesale and retail trade and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles decreased by 6.1% at constant prices. The largest decrease was observed in trade in lorries, trailers, semi-trailers and camping vehicles (26.5%).
