BC, Tallinn, 02.07.2014.Print version
According to a survey by SEB, majority of people in Estonia, who have taken housing loans after the economic crisis believe that the financial state of their family is more likely to improve than deteriorate during the next two years, writes LETA/Postimees Online.

Individuals’ preparedness to save more and make larger loan payments has also increased.

Men are more optimistic towards the improvement of their economic situation than women. 54% of male respondents estimate that the financial situation of their family will either slightly or significantly improve during the next few years. Among women, 47% of those polled believed in the improvement of the economic situation.

The sense of security among younger people was higher than that among the older groups.

According to a similar survey carried out in 2012, half of loan clients were unable to put any money aside from their income.
