Fitch affirms Estonia's rating at A+

Print versionRating agency Fitch confirmed the rating of Estonia at its current high level of A+ with a stable outlook, LETA/Postimees Online cites the Ministry of Finance.

Fitch estimates that Estonia's economic growth will accelerate in the coming quarters and will reach a total of 1.7% for this year and 3.1% in 2015.
Estonia's rating may increase from the current level when the economic growth is restored and wages grow in line with the increase in productivity and workforce skills. The main negative risks of the credit rating are potential deterioration of the economic situation of trading partners and rapid wage increase without an improvement in productivity.
A+ is Fitch's investment grade rating. The highest rating granted by Fitch is AAA.
