Google – favorite brand in Latvia in 2013

Print versionFor the fourth consecutive year, the favorite brand in Latvia is the on-line search engine Google in 2013, according to a research project carried out by the advertising agency DDB Latvija, the business magazine ''Kapitals'' and the social/media research agency GfK Custom Research Baltic, LETA cites.

Delfi.lv was named the "most influential" in the social networking genre, while beverage-maker "Ilguciems" is recognized as the "brand with potential".
The second favorite brand is the email service provider Inbox, followed by the mobile phone manufacturer Nokia, the on-line phone service provider Skype and the social networking website "Draugiem.lv".
Swedbank is in sixth place in Latvia, followed by supermarket chains Maxima and Rimi, as well as the chocolate and candy producer Laima and mayonnaise "Provansas Francis".
