For the second consecutive year, both companies have been ranked platinum – the highest sustainability assessment.

13 companies have been ranked bronze, 24 – silver, 12 – gold.

The average performance of companies participating in this year's index has improved by 4.4%, constituting 66.4%.

The best results have been achieved in the community section (70.4%), the worst – in the working environment section (63.8%).

The Sustainability Index is an initiative that allows Latvian companies to assess their sustainability in accordance with internationally-recognized criteria. 72 companies participated in the index this year.

The Sustainability Index offers Latvian companies to use strategic management tools to assess their operations and receive recommendations from experts on further development. The people of Latvia, the state and non-governmental organizations in turn receive reliable information about these companies, assessing their efforts and contribution to Latvia's development in the long run.
