Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevicius says that in the development of employment program, business, the Government, education and the youth have to cooperate, reports LETA/ELTA.

"In employment programme development we should seek that business, the Government, education and the youth would cooperate," the PM said in a strategy presentation of Lithuania's employment policy guidelines for 2020.

Action plan and measures will be drafted in June. It is estimated that by 2020 around 150,000 of new vacancies will be created.

Butkevicius points out that specific measures and people who will implement them must be provisioned in the program.

"More flexibility is necessary in employment policy, formal action should be removed and bureaucratic procedures reduced," said the PM.
