Foreign trade unit value in Latvia increased by 2.7 % for export and by 7.9 % for import in Q2

Compared to the previous quarter, the average level of export unit value in the 2nd quarter of 2012 was mostly promoted by the UV growth for prepared foodstuffs, for products of the chemical and allied industries, as well as for vegetable products.

The increase in the UV of mineral products, of basic metals and articles of basic metalsas well as of transport vehicles and parts thereof had the greatest impact on the average level of import unit value in the 2nd quarter of 2012, as compared to the 1st quarter of 2012.
