Lithuania's unemployment rate dipped to 10.3% in July 2012 from 10.4% in June, as the Baltic state braced for slower growth due to the eurozone debt crisis, official data showed on Tuesday, AFP reported, FOCUS News Agency said.

The rate translated into 208,400 jobseekers in the country of three million as of August 1, down from 208,600 a month earlier, the Lithuanian labour exchange said in a statement.

The jobless rate had stood at 10.2% in May and 11.1% in April, writes LETA/ELTA.

Despite solid economic growth, unemployment remains the key challenge for the country.
