Unit value of foreign trade in Latvia increased by 8.3 % for exported goods and by 4.2% for imported in Q2

Changes of the unit values compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year |
Compared to the previous quarter, the average level of export unit value in the 2nd quarter of 2010 was mostly increased by the UV rise of base metals and articles of base metals, of wood and articles of wood, of products of the chemical and allied industries, of machinery and mechanical appliances, of mineral products, as well as of vegetable products.
The UV increase of machinery and mechanical appliances; electrical equipment, of products of the chemical and allied industries, of miscellaneous manufactured articles, as well as of base metals and articles of base metals had the greatest impact on the average level of import unit value in the 2nd quarter of 2010, if compared to the 1st quarter.
