Krediidipank: danger of economic fall in Estonia is not over yet

Juhan Tere, BC, Tallinn, 26.10.2009.Print version
Krediidipank has adopted a wait-and-see position in the market situation of today since the danger that the economic fall will continue is not over yet, Äripäev.ee/LETA cites Eesti Krediidipank’s board chairman Andrus Kluge.

Although the bank has plenty of free means, we do not intend to make active steps on the loan market to gain market share at least not before the end of the year, wrote Kluge and admitted that the bank still has a lot of work to do with debtors.

“We wish to help clients to solve their problems so that the client relation would continue in the future and problems would not become deeper,” he said.

Krediidipank will reveal its economic results at the end of October. Kluge said that there will be no negative surprises and the nine months results will be in line with forecasts.
