IMF: Estonian economy is not facing a crisis

Print versionIMF announced that with its expected deceleration of growth, Estonian economy is not moving towards any crises, writes aripaev.ee, citing Bloomberg.
“Deceleration of the growth will test Estonia’s labour market and the ability of the financial policy to react in an adequate manner,” said representative of the International Monetary Fund Franciszek Rozwadowski during his meeting with Prime Minister Andrus Ansip on Wednesday.
The delegation of IMF that is on a two-week visit to Estonia supports the Government’s plan to freeze the public sector pay costs and make labour legislation more flexible.
