flyLAL reports 69% increase in passengers turnover in April 2008

Print versionIn April 2008, the Lithuanian air company flyLAL carried 21,841 passengers in Vilnius Airport in April – by 69% more than in the same period a year ago.
According to the company, the number of its passengers accounted for approximately 56% of the Vilnius Airport’s passengers flow in April (in total 38,790 passengers), thus the company became a leader in Vilnius Airport.
During April, 63% more passengers departed from Vilnius by flyLAL aircrafts than during the same period last year. Total number of flyLAL passengers, including flights from other airports, increased by nearly 70% year-on-year. Since the beginning of the year, the airline‘s passengers turnover from Vilnius increased by over 32%.
flyLAL plans to carry 1 million passengers in 2008.
