Largest petrol retailer in Latvia in2008 is Statoil

Print versionIn the first three months of the year 2008, the leaders of the oil products retail market in Latvia were Latvija Statoil, Neste Latvija, and Lukoil Baltija R, according to State Revenue Service's data on the turnover of excise goods.
Fourth largest petrol retailer, according to the number of oil products sold, vas Virsi-A, followed by East-West Transit, Aparts and Astarte Nafta.
Ruslatnafta is in eighth position according to retail sales of oil products, Ziemelu nafta – in ninth and Augstceltne – in 10th place.
Analyzing the data on the free turnover oil products, Revenue Service concluded that also in this sector the top three of the leading companies remains unchanged: Latvija Statoil, Neste Latvija and Lukoil Baltija R, informs LETA.
Other large traders of consumption oil products, in descending order are: LDz ritosa sastava serviss, Mazeiku nafta Tirdzniecibas nams, Ziemelu nafta, Nafta Trading, Gulfstream Oil, East-West Transit and Sumata.
