Lithuania's economic sentiment improves 2 points in September vs August

Lithuania's economic sentiment indicator, which measures confidence in the economy among producers, consumers and investors, rose by 2 percentage points in September from August to minus 3 percent, according to figures from Statistics Lithuania.
M-o-m, services confidence improved by 6 points, construction confidence – by 5 points, consumer confidence – by 2 points, and retail confidence – by 1 point. Meanwhile, industrial confidence weakened by 1 point.
Compared to September 2019, the composite indicator fell by 12 points, with confidence levels down by 26 points in the services sector, by 7 points in industry, by 6 points in construction, and by 4 points among consumers. The level of confidence in the retail sector remained unchanged y-o-y.
