Producer of refrigerators Snaige decided to raise authorized capital

Print versionSnaige, the only producer of refrigerators in the Baltic states, which has subsidiaries in Alytus and Kaliningrad, plans to raise its authorized capital and revise its statute. This decision of the board of directors of Snaige will have to be approved on June 16 at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.

The authorized capital of Snaige is planned to be raised 4 million litas (1.17 million euros) from 23.827 million litas (6.9 million euros) to 27.827 million litas (8.1 million euros) by additional contributions. An issue of 4 million convertible bonds with face value of 1 litas is planned to be placed for that. The bonds will be sold for 2.5 litas (0.73 euro) each and the total sum of the issue will reach 10 million litas (2.9 million euros). These bonds have to be signed and fully paid by July 4. At present, Snaige employs over 2300 people.
The company exports over 90% of its products to Western, Eastern and Central Europe – a total of over 40 countries.
