Lithuania posts 1.6% average annual HICP inflation for August

Lithuania's average annual inflation rate, as measured by the EU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), stood at 1.6% in August 2020, the latest figures from the country's statistics office, Statistics Lithuania, showed on September 9th, cites LETA/BNS.

The EU-harmonized average annual rate last month was 0.1%age points lower than the rate measured by the national CPI, the statistics office said.




The harmonized 12-month inflation rate, at 1.2%, was 0.1 points lower than the CPI rate at 1.3%.


The harmonized monthly inflation rate, at minus 0.2%, matched that measured by the national index.
