Lithuania's consumer prices edge down 0.2% in Aug vs July

The annual (August 2020, compared to August 2019) inflation provisional estimate calculated based on the HICP stands at 1.2%. This was mainly influenced by an increase in prices for healthcare, food products and non-alcoholic beverages, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products, as well as a decrease in prices for housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, transport goods and services.



Provisional monthly (in August 2020, against July) change in consumer prices calculated based on the HICP is negative and accounts for –0.2%.
