Lithuania posts 1.7% average annual HICP inflation in July

Lithuania's average annual inflation rate, as measured by the EU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), edged down to 1.7 percent in July, figures from Statistics Lithuania showed on Tuesday, cites LETA/BNS.
The EU-harmonized average annual rate last month was 0.1 percentage points lower than the rate measured by the national CPI, the statistics office said.

The harmonized 12-month inflation rate, at 0.9 percent, was 0.1 points lower than the CPI rate, too.
The harmonized monthly inflation rate, at minus 0.3 percent, matched that measured by the national index.
