BC, Vilnius, 29.06.2020.Print version
Lithuania's monthly inflation rate as measured by the EU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), is estimated at 0.4% in June, reported Statistics Lithuania.
The estimated annual inflation rate, as measured by the EU Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices (HICP), stands at 0.8%.
Statisticians say the annual rate was mostly affected by an increase in the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages, healthcare products and services, and also a drop in the prices of transport goods and services, accommodation, water, electricity and gas bills, as well as the prices of other types of fuel products and services.
The 0.5% monthly deflation rate was recorded in Lithuania in May and the annual rate stood at 0.2%.
