Rimi Baltic reports 15% increase in four-month of 2008 sales

Print versionRimi Baltic Group, one of the largest chain stores in the Baltic states, posted EUR 408.6 million in sales in January-April 2008 (value-added tax excluded), or 15% more than in the respective period of 2007.

The group's sales in Lithuania grew 16% to EUR 87.7 million, in Latvia – 20% up to EUR 200.1 million, and in Estonia – 8% to EUR 120.8 million, reports LETA.
The group's sales in April 2008 totaled EUR 107.8 million showing a 13% increase year-on year. Last month Rimi sales in Lithuania grew 8% year-on-year up to EUR 22.4 million, in Latvia – 18% up to EUR 52.9 million and in Estonia – 9% up to EUR 32.5 million.
Presently Rimi Baltic Group operates 219 stores in the Baltic region – 66 in Estonia, 95 in Latvia and 58 in Lithuania.
