Citadele Index: business sentiment positive in all sectors in Latvia for first time in 4 years

Print versionBusiness sentiment has become positive in all sectors in Latvia for the first time in the last four years, writes LETA, according to the latest Citadele Index.

In the last quarter of 2017, the Citadele Index reached 51.44 points,
signaling growing optimism among business representatives. In addition to
manufacturers, service providers and builders, retailers also started showing
optimism in the last quarter of this year.
Thus, after a break of four years, business sentiment in Latvia has again
become positive in all sectors.
More detailed results of the survey will be presented at a news conference
on Friday, December 15.
The Citadele Index is based on a survey of 750 company owners and business
executives, representing firms of different sizes doing business in different
industries. The index is published quarterly since 2004. SKDS pollster carries
out the survey for Citadele Bank.
