49% Latvian employees perform job tasks also during vacation

Print versionAlmost every second employee or 49% also during their vacation perform some job-related tasks, writes LETA, according to a survey conducted by CV-Online Latvia recruitment portal.

Almost one fourth or 24% of respondents said that they had to respond to
job-related phone calls, 13% had to work on a computer, 8% had to return once
or twice to the workplace.
According to the survey, most often employees who have to perform
job-related tasks during vacation are higher management (76%), or medium
management (72%), while more seldom they are lower management (60%),
specialists (44%), assistants (50%) or workers (25%).
CV-Online Latvia conducted the survey from September 15 until October 2,
polling 2,797 respondents.
