Lithuania's monthly inflation at 1%, annual up to 4.8% in September

Lithuania's monthly inflation was 1% in September, as prices of some consumer goods and services went up after two months of being flat, Statistics Lithuania said on Monday, cites LETA/BNS.

The statistics agency said the annual inflation was 4.8% in September year-on-year, while the average monthly inflation stood at 3%, as compared with 4.4% and 2.6% in August, respectively.

 

Prices of consumer goods grew by 1.7% over a month, while prices for services fell by 1%, growing by respective 4.4% and 6% year-on-year.
