Lithuania's construction growth above EU average in Q2

Lithuania's annual construction output growth in the second quarter of 2017 was among the highest in the European Union, according to estimates released by the EU statistics office Eurostat on August 18th, cites LETA/BNS.
Production in the construction sector in Lithuania increased by 6.4% in the
second quarter from a year ago.
Larger increases were only recorded in Hungary (28.4%), Sweden (19.6%),
Slovenia (17.6%) and Latvia (15.8%).
Data for 11 member states, including Estonia, are not available in the
report. Based on the available data, production in construction in the whole of
the EU rose by 3.4% year-on-year and by 1% quarter-on-quarter.
