Latvia’s GDP rose by 4.1% in Q2

According to the flash estimate of the Central Statistical Bureau (CSB), in the 2nd quarter of 2017, compared to the corresponding period of 2016, GDP grew by 4.1% according to seasonally and working days non-adjusted data and by 4.8% according to seasonally and working days adjusted data.
During the 2nd
quarter, the GDP was affected by an 8% increase in the volume of industrial
production, 14% increase in construction, as well as a 3% increase in the
service sector.
In the 2nd
quarter of 2017, compared to the 1st quarter of 2017, the gross domestic
product (GDP) value (seasonally and working days adjusted data) increased by
1.3%.
