Biggest need for software developers, cooks, caretakers in Estonia

Print versionIn the next few years, the biggest need will be for software, web and multimedia developers in Estonia as well as cooks and caretakers, it can be seen from a fresh labor need barometer published by the Unemployment Insurance Fund on July 4th, 2017, reports LETA/BNS.

The fund draws up the barometer twice a year and forecasts which
professions will experience labor surplus, shortage or balance, the
Unemployment Insurance Fund said.
The fund's labor need barometers provide short-term projections, give an
up-to-date overview of labor needs at the regional level and augment the
long-term labor need forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and
Communications and the Qualifications Authority that cover entire Estonia.
The forecasts are drawn up by regional divisions of the Unemployment
Insurance Fund with the help of other experts where necessary.
