All 3 Baltic countries post y-o-y growth in Jan exports

Print versionAll three Baltic countries posted year-on-year growth in exports in January, figures from the EU statistical office Eurostat showed on Friday.

Lithuania's exports increased by 19% to 1.9 bln euros.
Latvia's exports rose by 15% to 0.9 bln euros and Estonia's exports were up by
14% to 0.9 bln euros.
Lithuania's imports jumped by 28% in January y-o-y to 2.1 bln
euros. Latvia registered a 21% rise in imports to 1 bln euros and Estonia's
imports surged by 40% to 1.4 bln euros.
Estonia posted the biggest trade deficit among the three
Baltic countries, at 0.4 bln euros. Lithuania and Latvia each recorded a
deficit of 0.2 bln euros.
